Education only, not financial advice

Nothing on the platform tells you to buy, sell or hold any security, and nothing on it is an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell one.

Everything on the platform is general, and the same for every member. It doesn't take into account your finances, goals, experience, risk tolerance, taxes or anything else about you.

Neither we nor Tom Nash act as your investment adviser, broker, portfolio manager or financial planner through the platform, and using it creates no advisory or fiduciary relationship with anyone.

Before you make a financial decision, consider speaking with a licensed professional who knows your situation. Every decision you make is yours, and so is the responsibility for it.

Investing involves risk

All investing involves risk, including the loss of some or all of the money you invest.

Past performance, historical returns and historical examples don't predict future results. No result, return or outcome is promised or guaranteed.

The platform's tools (among them the Compound Growth and Retirement Projector, the Withdrawal Simulator, Pay Off Debt or Invest?, the Position Sizing and Trim Calculator, the Crash Stress Test, the Framework Fit Score and the Self-Scoring Tool) are illustrations. Their results are worked out from the figures you enter and from assumptions, and they are not forecasts or predictions. The Crash Stress Test uses historical sector and asset class averages, and individual investments often moved far more or far less.

A company's score on the platform is a screen under a published rubric, worked out the same way for every member. It is not a verdict on the company and doesn't tell anyone what to do with its stock.

Research, data and lectures

The company research, scores, filings data, lecture summaries and other information on the platform may contain errors or gaps, and they go out of date. Research carries the date it was compiled. Check anything important for yourself before you rely on it.

Some information comes from third parties, such as the SEC's EDGAR filings, OpenFIGI and historical price data. We provide it as we receive it and can't promise it is complete, accurate or current.

Tom Nash's lectures, his Quarterly Opportunities List and his Portfolio Template Library are his publications, for education. They show how he thinks about companies and portfolios. They are not personalized to you, and a view in a lecture is as of the day it was recorded and may have changed since.

Built with the help of AI

Parts of the platform were built with the help of artificial intelligence, as the notice at the start of every session says. The platform itself sends nothing you enter to any AI service.

Your membership and account

A membership is for one person. Keep your password and sign-in details private, and don't share your account or let anyone else use it.

Your access lasts 365 days from your first sign-in. Buying again adds another year.

Refunds are handled under the refund terms shown at checkout on Whop. If a payment is refunded or charged back, your access to the platform ends.

We may suspend or close an account that is shared, misused or used against these terms.

Our content

Everything on the platform, including the lectures, frameworks, research, templates, the Opportunities List, the course, worksheets, tools and software, belongs to us, to Tom Nash or to those who license it to us, and is protected by copyright and other laws.

Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to use the platform and its content for your own education while your access lasts.

You may not copy, share, sell, publish, record, scrape or redistribute the platform or its content, share its lecture videos or their links, or use any of it to train an artificial intelligence system.

What you enter

What you enter stays yours: your holdings, your scores of companies, your notes, the questions you send for live calls and the stocks you ask to have researched. You allow us to keep and use it to run the platform for you.

Your holdings, scores, course progress and the tools' results are visible only to you. Our team can see your email address, whether you said you will attend a live call, the questions you send for live calls and the stocks you ask to have researched with your notes, so that we can run the calls and the research. Other members see your questions without seeing who asked them. If you earn the course certificate, the name you give it is shown, with the program and the date you completed it, on the certificate's public verification page.

Don't enter anything unlawful, abusive or misleading, or anyone else's personal information.

Live calls

Live group calls are group education, not individual advice. They may be recorded, and recordings may be shared with members on the platform.

Changes to the platform and to these terms

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, add or remove features and content at any time, and it may sometimes be unavailable.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will ask you to agree to them again before you carry on using the platform.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything to do with the platform is limited to the amount you paid for your membership in the 12 months before the claim.

Some places don't allow some of these limits. Where that is so, they apply as far as the law there allows.

General

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

These terms, together with the terms shown at checkout on Whop, are the whole agreement between you and us about the platform.
